Play Specialists are responsible for maintaining the play area. This includes – but is not limited to – greeting guests, assisting in the retail area, assisting with guest check-in – which may include checking or selling tickets, checking waivers, escorting guests to the event space, and educating guests on various games and services available. Other duties may include maintaining the cleanliness of the entry area and front lobby/cafe area, maintaining stock of advertising paraphernalia and retail items, as well as coordinating with other facility staff, event coordinators, and management for special events and / or immersive dining experiences. Friendly and pleasant demeanor is expected at all times, particularly during game-playing times around guests.
