About Arietta:
Phoenix, AZ based DJ and producer Arietta is known to provide infectious broken beat dance grooves with an uplifting presence, but never afraid to go too deep into her emotive musical selections. Her 15 years of classical/jazz training as a multi-instrumentalist and composer translates into sets where she infuses a sense of musicality to tell a story through her mixes. Arietta was the host of the longstanding BASS Movement radio show on dnbradio.com, and is the founder of the music blog bmvnt.com. Arietta has independently released an EP, Coded Dreams Vol. 1, various singles, and provided remix support. She was the winner of Hospital Records Inaugural ‘Women in Drum and Bass’ DJ Competition and has been featured in several national and international blogs. She remains active in performance scenes across the US, and periodically travels internationally. She’s hard at work on her first solo Drum and Bass album guaranteed to show her passion and purpose through sound.
